I bought this album yesterday Ian Dury and the Blockheads. I heard about them on the film 'sex and drugs and rock and roll' its such a good film. I liked the terrible music in it, so I decided to buy the awful CD, its a classic.

I love coloured lips at the moment.

I wish there were more vintage shops near where I live! Me and my gf 'little boy blue' had a little browse in hebden on saturday, which is home to the cutest little vintage shop! I found the most beautiful fur vintage coat in there, Its so depressing when you csn't afford a chocolate bar never mind a vintage fur coat!

These are the celebs I used to have serious crushes on when I was younger. Delta Goodrem and Holly Valance (they were both on neighbors, it was great) Sarah Michelle Gellar AKA Buffy The Vampire Slayer, obvs. How can you not? AND Honey Harman from The Bill (maybe this is where my severe Police attraction stemmed from) She is now on Hollyoaks, why oh why do people have to age?

OMG, they've totally found Noah's ark! I found this article just now http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/2949640/Noahs-Ark-found-in-Turkey.html take a look. Its comedy gold. I LOVE the comment some guy has written saying 'I thought it would be impossible to find that...because it didn't bloody exist!!! But now I've seen some Chinese fellas looking at some wood...'
I cannot fucking believe this, 'Amy Winehouse delays recording new album to take up golf'. Im not even pissing joking 'Playing the sport seems to be working a treat for the Rehab singer who is finally back on the mend after giving up drugs and alcohol. She has only just tried out Tiger Woods’ favourite sport but friends say she ‘loves’ it'. A source told The Sun: ‘She played nine holes and loved it, she had a natural swing. Amy wants to learn how to play properly.’ Im FAR from happy.
I suppose I COULD tidy my room.
Im bored. The holidays are getting so boring, there are only so many cups of tea you can have a day and only so many times you can watch Loose Women and Jeremy Kyle.

Wednesday 21 July 2010

I was on the toilet in the bus station earlier, naturally, when I over heard (delibratly listened) two gay girls talking about how one of them had been chucked out last night after coming out. I am really beginning to challenge in my head, what the fuck is wrong with being gay. Surely it should be a celebration of recognising your identity, and not be seen as a horrific sin which results in homelessness! My life would be so much better if my girlfriend could come in my house without being completely ignored, how the hell is this right/normal/acceptable?
I am struggling to find words. Sarah Jane Potts. Oh. My. God. I am in love and have been for a while. I was eating my tea the other day and decided to just flick the TV on, there she was! In Waterloo Road, playing a teacher, well, I watched the whole episode speechless. Jesus. This is a picture of her in sugar rush during my favourite scene. Hmmm.

I want a beautiful house like this! I don't think i'll be able to afford a beautiful vintage house for a good few years yet though, rubbish. I've got it all planned out, don't you worry. I seem to be quite a fan of pink these days, I saw a baby pink toaster the other day which would be perfect to match these beauts.

I am in love with this song by Fever Ray called 'nows the only time I know'.

I started making a scrapbook afew months ago, I started making it determined to fill it with all the pictures I take. I can't be bothered to finish it now as I haven't touched it in a while but I am determined to continue it now seeing as though I have a ridiculous amount of time on my hands at the moment. Here is a preview of what I have done so far.
So it was my friends 19th yesterday and we went for a day out in Blackpool. I hate Blackpool but I decided I had to go as I couldn't let my friend down. It turned out as a fantastic day! We went to the pleasure beach, then to the shops and then went to a restaurant for tea. The shops in Blackpool are comedy gold! They entertain small minds with items such as strap-ons, thousands of bizarre hats, small wind up toys which fuck eachother went wound up, many lollies including ones saying 'I like pussy' on them. Well, me and my friend spent about half an hour in one of the shops looking at all the stuff. I purchased these sunglasses for £1 and a nice cock lollipop for my girlfriend of course. I regret to say STUPID me didn't take my camera, next time I will have to, not to take pictures of the shops by the way, I mean the piers and such.

Cuties!

Look at my nails! I decided today I needed a change, so I thought, i'll spend half an hour painting bows on my nails. Im too much of a tramp to afford proper nail kits so, me being me, improvised with my Barry M nail paints, and an old liquid eyeliner brush, 256 mistakes and afew curses later, Voila! Another good tip, if you've run out of cotton balls, use a tampon, quick and easy!

MEET ME IN ST LOUIS.

This afternoon I have been a lazy arse watching rubbish TV and generally doing nothing. I realised it was bad after I found myself entering the loose women competition to win £15,000, texting 'C' to answer the question 'complete the famous childs sport day race, the egg and fork race, the egg and knife race or the egg and spoon race. I then fantasized about what it will be like when I win the money, then I woke up. I switched the channel to find 'meet me in st louis' was one, I have always wanted to see that film. I loved it! I love the outfits, the hair, the make up, and im not afraid to admit I love a good musical. Judy Garland was truly a beautiful gem, I want her hair!

BATH?

I was recently told about a beautiful place called Bath and decided to look it up online and instantly fell in love! I don't know where the buggery it is, and can't be arsed to research it that far, but apparantly it isn't far from West Yorkshire. It is definately on my list of future visits.

GAGA.

I have to admit, I have a massive crush on Lady Gaga. I really don't know why either.
I also have this theory that if she had Amy Winehouse' hair, she would look almost identical to her.

SCARRED

One of my work colleagues at Samaritans lent me this book about a woman who now works high up in the Samaritans. I have never met this woman as she doesn't work at my branch, but many of my Samaritan colleagues have. Basically, the woman (Sophie Andrews) is adopted at a young age, she becomes extremely close to her adoptive father then this all changes the day she gets her first period, he starts raping her. She endures such a traumatic and horrific time which includes her being sectioned, living on the streets and being raped on the streets. She confides in Samaritans alot and relys on them, in the end she is released from the psyciatric hospital and has to find her own way. She then discovers she is gay and has a couple of relationships with women in the book. Today, she is involved in many charity organisations including the Samaritans and she also helps homeless children with her work.
The book took me three days to read, despite the book being very graphic and therefore disturbing, the book was amazing. I have never cried so much in my life (even more than when I watch Titanic!). This woman is truly an amazing individual who one day I hope to meet.

Theres No Longer A Hole In My Pocket!

I have just landed myself a little job as a cleaner! After being an unemployed bum for two years, I can finally earn some pennies and feed my starving piggy bank! I have been longing for a certain pair of BEAUTIFUL tan loafers in Topshop (unfortunately there not on the website) and I can finally purchase them! Must be fate!

Colour In Summer..

I have made a vow to wear more colours now it is summer (the season I hate), so I have purchased some new make up. This includes Barry M nail paint which I love and Natural Collection lipsticks. The Barry M shades are 'pure turquoise' and 'berry' and the Natural Collection shades are 'apple blossom' and 'cherry red'. Here are my latest additions to my growing collection, note I choose the cheaper brands? I can't afford the luxuries of expensive make up, one day...

Topshop Make Up..

I haven't actually bought any of the Topshop make up, but I must say I have seen some of it and it looks really good. I was lusting after another very specific shade of purple for my next nail polish, and I found it in Topshop. To which then I gasped at the blasphemic price, a whole five pounds! Well, I decided to continue my quest for the perfect shade elsewhere, I knew I could rely on Barry M for £2.79.
I first heard about Topshop bringing out make up on their blog which I love (http://insideout.topshop.com/blog/). The nail polish examples are tacky as hell, but I think I love them! I like the bows and the grey one with the lines across.
